Hartley Hampton is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
He is past president of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He was co-author, Hampton, Schick & McGehee's Texas Civil Practice And Remedies Code Annotated (Thompson* est, , 2002, 2003), editor of The Houston Lawyer in 1986, and taught Product Liability at South Texas College of Law in 1990 and 1991.
He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Western Districts, and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the International Society of Barristers and is rated AV by Martindale Hubble, which signifies "that a lawyer has reached the height of professional excellence," and "is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity.”
